Common Fit Scenarios

Who SuccessfulSight™ May Be Right For

The situations where families and patients most often find the program to be a good fit.

Families Far From a VT Clinic

If the nearest specialty vision therapy clinic is a long drive away, SuccessfulSight™ is designed to bring a complete program to your home.

Patients Who Need Flexible Scheduling

When weekly in-clinic therapy is difficult to fit around school, work, and family life, a home-based program with structured support can close the gap.

Adults Without Time for Weekly Clinic Visits

Working adults and college students often skip vision therapy because of clinic hours. SuccessfulSight™ is built to complete on your own schedule.

Families Who Want Real Structure

If you've been given a handout of exercises to do at home but want more guidance, more structure, and more feedback, SuccessfulSight™ provides that.

Patients Whose Optometrist Participates

SuccessfulSight™ is prescribed through participating optometrists. If your provider offers it, your care team stays local while the program runs at home.

Patients Seeking Continuity of Care

If you want to stay with the optometrist you already trust, SuccessfulSight™ lets your local provider prescribe and follow the program without changing providers.

Fit Check

Is SuccessfulSight™ Right for You?

A quick, honest check before you reach out.

It may be a fit if...

  • The patient is 6 years or older
  • The patient has been evaluated by, or can be evaluated by, a participating optometrist
  • The patient can participate in structured therapy activities at home with family support when needed
  • The family is looking for a complete, guided vision therapy program rather than trying to manage therapy activities on their own
  • The family wants the flexibility of home-based therapy with local optometrist involvement
  • The family can commit to 30-minute sessions 5 days a week for 18–24 weeks

It may not be the best fit if...

  • The patient is younger than 6
  • The patient has significant gross motor delays that would make a home-based virtual program difficult to complete as designed
  • The patient needs a higher level of in-person, hands-on support than a virtual program can provide
  • The patient is not yet able to participate meaningfully in structured activities, even with adult support
  • The patient’s developmental, sensory, or behavioral needs make it difficult to complete the program safely and consistently at home
  • The family is not able to support regular participation in the program
Next Step

Still Not Sure?

The best next step is to talk with a participating optometrist. They can evaluate whether the program is appropriate for your specific situation, establish your starting point if it is, and tell you honestly if it is not. If you want to read more first, see our article on who is a good fit for virtual vision therapy.

If you do not yet have a participating provider near you, submit your ZIP and patient age and we will notify you when one is available in your area.
